Search Guide
In addition to selecting tables via the list of measures in the left menu, you may also search for specific tables using the selection boxes above.
Search Key: The Search Key is a required field. The following table information is searched: table title, measure title, and data source. You may enter one single word, or a combination of a few words in this field. The Search Key is not case sensitive. If multiple words are entered, the search is either Not Exact (the default) or Exact (available via the checkbox). By default the search is for matches to all entered words regardless of order or if the words are adjacent. Multiple-word searches are always within a table title, measure title or data source. That is, if two words are entered the search is for those two words within either title or the data source. An Exact search is limited to adjacent words in the order specified. Note that the search is for letter strings, not words per se. For example, a search for "dialysis" will match "hemodialysis"; "globin" will match "hemoglobin".
Chapter Field: The search may optionally be limited to a specific chapter or section. To do this select from the dropdown list. The default is to search all chapters and sections.
Table Type: Searches may also be limited to specific table types (National, Disparities, or State). The default is to search all table types.
Core Measures: In addition, the search may be limited to tables associated with Core measures. Simply use the "only Core Measures" check box.
